Zoom - Width

You can zoom to a specific width in the mapping window based on the current display units set by the user's Preferences.

To zoom to a desired map width, right-click in the mapping window, and then choose Zoom > Zoom Width from the popup menu.

Then you will see the Zoom Width dialog box. 

 

 

Use the Zoom Width dialog box to specify the map width to display. For example, if you specify 2,000 feet, the map will zoom in or out to display only 2,000 feet across in the mapping window. You will then see a width of 2,000 in the mapping window's status bar.

 

Enter the new width you want in the box and click OK. 

 

The mapping window zooms in or out to the width you specified, retaining the current center of the map.
